Asian Leopard Kittens
With our Asian Leopard Kittens, they are handled from birth until they leave their mother at
17 days old. Most breeders feel this is incorrect and that they need to be pulled sooner, however
we don't agree with this. With the intense research we have done, we believe if you are able to
pet your ALC mother, and you have a bond with her, there is no need to pull the kittens right
after birth. The first maternal nutrition a kitten needs is their mothers colostrum. A mothers
milk is so much better for the kitten than any store bought milk. The cubs eyes open at ten
days. Once the kittens are 17 days old then the cubs are pulled from their mother and brought
into my bedroom where they are bottle fed and cared for. The kittens normally start to eat
solid food at 23 days. We work very close with our ALCs for bonding reasons. If you can't trust
a cat, you have to understand that cat knows it, and WILL NOT trust you. One thing I have
learned working with Feral Foundation cats is, start slow but firm. Never let them bite or
actually pop you. After they see you won't take any crap from them, most of the time they feel
you are the authority. I am sure not all breeders have had this experiences but so far for us
"knock on wood" we have been very lucky and blessed.
We plan on having ONE litter a year of ALC kittens and the next litter we are hoping will be
born in late March.
An Asian Leopard Cat bred to a Bengal, the kittens are considered F1's.

The F1 female is bred to a Bengal Stud and the kittens are called F2's.

The F2 is bred to a Bengal Stud and the kittens produced are called F3's.

The F3 bred to a Bengal Stud is considered an F4 which is Standard Book Tradition,
meaning it is 4 generations away from an ALC and is able to be shown with the
International Cat Association.

F1 kittens
With our F1 kittens we will be breeding our ALC male to our best temperament Queens. A
lot of breeders believe these kittens still need to be pulled off and bottle fed, however I
don't agree. Our queens and their F1 babies are kept in the house with the hustle and
bustle of our everyday lives. Every chance we get, our kittens are loved on, kissed and
cuddled. Like I said above Mothers contact is extremely important. My F1 babies are not
pulled off of their mothers until they are eating on their own which is normally around 4
1/2 weeks. After that the mother is wrapped to dry up her milk, then will be allowed to
see her babies every few hours a day. Contact with adults, children, other animals and
strangers is also extremely important.

Our F1 babies will range from $1800 to $2500. Breeder quality females will be held back
and evaluated as we believe NOT every F1 female is breeder quality. ( F1 Males are
sterile.) ALL of our kittens at Serenity Bengals are spayed or neutered, microchip,
wormed, flea treated, and rabies if flying. All of this is included in price of all pet kittens.
Our kittens normally leave at 16 weeks old if being picked up, 20 weeks old if flying. F1
kittens are extremely energetic and busy cats and they also LOVE to climb. Bringing in an
F1 into your household you will have to baby proof the house, and understand these
kittens are half Asian Leopard Cats, meaning they have wild blood in them. My F1 kittens
have to go to forever homes, that understand situations can come up, but are willing to
deal with it, versus giving up your kitten.

Good quality kittens are not cheap and you get what you pay for! There is a LOT of time
and expense involved in raising healthy kittens. Birthing kittens can sometimes be difficult.
Many things can go wrong, and a trip to the vet is sometimes needed along with an
overnight stay. High quality food, raw, litter, vitamins, medications, vaccines &
deworming, vet trips for the kitten are all part of caring for your kitten before it goes
home with you. A lot of time and expense has been put into your kitten to make sure the
baby is healthy, outgoing, and very spoiled!!!

We do meet kitten buyers within a 3 hour drive. Shipping is available on our kittens. If
you need your kitten to be shipped I will make all the arrangementd for you. Buyer is
responsible for the cost of the airfare, health certificate, and carrier. Shipping is normally
around $300 and is
not including in the price of the kitten.
